Fandor is an on-demand film platform where true movie lovers can explore a library of previously unavailable films from festivals and collections from around the world. They rethink the way people can view distinctive films, previously unavailable to their audience, through a precise balance of technology, social media and online distribution.
There are a number of content platforms for film goers to choose from. Our mission was to express Fandor’s unique offering and tone; a gracious host. A gracious host is thoughtful, welcoming and highly aware of their guest’s needs. Ready for a conversation or a quick hello. Fandor is empathetic, understands your tastes, putting you at ease while ensuring you find what you’re in the mood for.
After a broad exploration the penguin brand mark reflected Fandor’s key position as that gracious host. This brand approach was built on the power of human connection and personality. Fandor embraces how films connect humanity by revealing that we all share the same language of emotions regardless of country, race, gender, or age. The identity system was inclusive of brand strategy, tone, logo, typographic mark, color and overall brand guidelines.
